Emma is a Senior Vet Assistant on our team here at KRAH! Born and raised in Prince Edward Island, Emma brings her love and compassion for animal welfare to beautiful Newfoundland!
Emma has always been an animal lover since she was a little girl. Her favourite activities as a kid we’re going to the vet with her grandmothers cats and her own pets, visiting farm animals and the animal shelter down the road from her child hood home!
Emma spent the last 5 years working at the PEI Humane Society working in the fundraising and marketing department raising money for her animal shelter as well as being a vet assistant, caring for the animals and making sure they were adopted into new loving homes!
She spends her extra time fostering animals in need, especially during kitten season! This is where she had a “foster fail” and decided to adopt her ginger kitty Flynn who is now 3 years old and her baby! She also has a blue heeler doggo who tests her patients daily with his rambunctious, energetic, goofy personality but is a great side kick for all of her hiking adventures on the weekends!
Emma can’t wait to help your pets in need whatever that may be! She will be sure to offer them lots of love and cuddles while in our care
