Medical information

  • Every dog must be up to date on vaccines: DA2PPV, Rabies, and Bordetella.
  • Puppies need at least two DA2PPV vaccines and a Bordetella vaccine.
  • Rabies must be given when they are old enough (no later than 18 weeks).
  • If you are not a client, we require an annual vaccine certificate or records directly from your veterinarian as proof that your dog is current for these vaccinations.
  • If you choose to perform titre tests, we require annual written documentation from your veterinarian of your pet’s adequate titre results.

All ages are welcome at daycare however, every dog must be spayed and neutered by eight months of age. No exceptions. If your dog is displaying behaviour related to sexual maturity prior to the eight-month mark (such as humping or marking) that is disruptive to the other dogs at daycare, he or she may be required to take a break from daycare until after their spay or neuter.

Is your dog spayed or neutered?(Required)

Every dog must be on a veterinarian-prescribed form of parasite control for fleas and intestinal parasites. We require yearlong flea and intestinal parasite prevention covering every month. As with vaccines, if you are not a client, we require proof of parasite prevention in the form of a medical record from your veterinarian.

Does your dog have a sensitive stomach (i.e. with nervousness, what they eat, etc.)?
Do we have your permission to give your dog nutritional treats?
  • Daycare is not right for every dog.
  • Prior to admission, we provide an assessment to all dogs over the age of six months.
  • This assessment is not to label your dog as a ‘good dog’ or ‘bad dog.’
  • It is to determine if our daycare is the right environment for your dog to thrive.
  • If your dog exhibits aggressive or behavioural concerns during assessment, it will be discussed with you and will result in your dog not being admitted.
  • Daycare is for your dog to have fun however; every dog does not flourish in daycare.
  • If your dog begins to show negative behaviour and is not enjoying his or her experience, we will discuss this with you in a timely manner.
  • If your dog’s behaviour creates a potential safety concern for them or for others, he or she will be unable to continue in daycare.
