Maria loves a perfect morning of waking up to a nice cup of Tetley tea, listening to Irish and Traditional Newfoundland music and being smothered with kisses and cuddles from her three dogs! She has two senior girls: Kara (9 years young!) & Shelby (8 years young!) and an 8 month old baby girl: Lex . These three furry family members follow her on weekends when she’s spending time with family, playing sports and getting in a nice run!

Having grown up with a family dog, hamsters, fish and Guinea pigs, Maria has been surrounded by animals for as long as she can remember and has always wanted a career in the Veterinary Field. There was never any question that this little girl would grow up to work in the veterinary field! The other aspect of her work-life that Maria loves is wowing people with an amazing customer experience. So prior to entering into the veterinary field, she spent many years working in customer service right here in St. John’s. Now, her love of animals, coupled with meeting new people and caring for clients, patients and her co-workers, it’s the perfect combination as our hospital manager!
