Born and raised in Calgary Alberta, Natasha decided she needed a change! Newfoundland was too beautiful to resist, and she ultimately moved here in 2019. Newfoundland is also the perfect setting for her to indulge in camping outdoors and fires under the stars. When not at home with her eight-year-old son, her dog, Tyv, and her old cranky cat, Jinx, you’ll find this nature-lover wondering on any trail she can find, and taking pictures of all the different mushrooms.
Natasha is the oldest of five sisters, and grew up not having pets. Therefore, as soon as she was old enough, she began volunteering anywhere that would allow her to work with animals, including the Calgary Humane Society and horse ranches from around the city. From that time on, she knew she wanted to work with animals in any way she could.
It was 12 years ago when Natasha started working at the Calgary Animal Referral and Emergancy hospital (C.A.R.E), where she was involved in some very memorable cases. Her passion for radiology and surgery grew, and she even got to help in her own dogs orthopedic surgeries. While working at veterinary hospitals, Natasha’s heart grew a soft spot for misunderstood dogs. She subsequently began fostering some of the rescue dogs who were treated at her clinic.
Now a permanent resident of St. John’s, Natasha loves her work here at Kenmount Road Animal Hospital, and has a passion for helping clients and answering questions.
